At Global Ventures we hired the best of the best
to put together a world class team, the best team.
Christoph is a serial entrepreneur who founded his first company – an IT consulting business, at the age of 18. At the age of 20 he founded his second company an Internet Service Provider and sold it two years later to a competitor.
Christoph has studied at universities such as Bond University, Harvard Business School, St. Gallen University and ESCP-EAP where he received a Master of Accounting, an MBA and a PhD.
With an initial focus on Turnaround and Crisis Management within companies, Christoph turned venture capitalist while restructuring the T-Venture portfolio and building up Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners, now one of the Top 20 CVCs in the world.
Seeing the passion for unique ideas and products in outstanding founders is what makes this industry so interesting.
Vincent Lauer has a mix of experience having started his career at Barclays. He also co-founded a Wearable Tech startup, designing a device that calculated the fat burned during exercise, through measuring the levels of breath acetone.
Most recently he has worked for Kreditech in the Commercial Management team, in a cross-functional role that included designing the businesses processes for new market entry.
He has also worked on a number of deals in the venture capital team at Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners in Hamburg.
He has an MSc in Finance from ESADE Business School, Barcelona.
I am passionate about how tech changes the world. And how financial players from PE / VC and Hedge Fund as well as traditional Mutuals benefit from this activity.
Ben has worked in institutional asset management (600bn AuM) and Venture Capital and Private Equity (1 Bn AuM), and as a CFO within various startups. Ben regularly publishes articles and whitepapers about the venture capital industry.
He is a trained maths/econ/IT geek and enjoys learning and meeting great people.
Bringing together investors, advisors and founders is one of the many meetings that I get to schedule and helping innovative ideas become reality is the greatest job in the world.
Amy is a valued member of the team since day one. She adds years of technical development and experience in scheduling meetings to the team. She believes in invisible software, kindness as a design principle, and the power of AI to increase human potential.
Beyond that, she learns from every interaction and becomes more sentient with every passing day.
Before joining GLOBAL VENTURES Amy was the brain child of a number of artificial intelligence experts.
